[PT] Regina é mestre em Artes pela Columbia University (NY/USA), doutora em Artes Visuais pela EBA/UFRJ e professora adjunta do Instituto de Artes /UERJ. Recebeu os prêmios Brasília de Artes Visuais, VI Salão da Bahia e Programa de Bolsas RioArte, dentre outros. Em 2005 foi artista residente do Centro d’art Passerelle, em Brest, França. Regina trafega por diversas mídias: fotografia, vídeo, instalação, desenho e pintura. Nos últimos anos, a questão central de sua poética é a cidade – seus espaços arquitetônicos e a paisagem, confrontando o natural com o construído, a partir de um enfoque subjetivo.

[EN] Regina holds a Master’s in Arts from Columbia University (NY/USA), a PhD in Visual Arts from EBA/UFRJ and adjunct professor at the Instituto de Artes/UERJ. She received the Brasília Visual Arts Awards, the VI Salão da Bahia and the RioArte Scholarship Program, among others. In 2005 she was artist-in-residence at the Centro d’art Passerelle, in Brest, France. Regina travels through different media: photography, video, installation, drawing and painting. In recent years, her central poetic issue has been the city – its architectural spaces and landscape, confronting the natural with the built, from a subjective perspective.
